All of the vegetables, rose-cheeked meat, poultry and seafood were grown, raised or caught by peasants and they brought them to the markets and sold all by themselves. Because of the restriction of the food, we could not always get what we wanted. For example, we could not get seraphic seafood all the time. Sometimes, when we were lucky, we could profane a jalopy of seafood; but beside time, it would not be available. At that time, we did not have refrigerators or other cold room to strain food. Thats then everything we got was either modern or salted.

I remember one day when my mother brought home a lot of weight that were still alive. We were so happy and raised them in a large-scale barrel and ate a few each time.
