A Comparison of Two Plays and Their Relationships The plays Fences by August Wilson and shut up of a Salesman by Arthur Miller two portray families lumbering to survive on small income. The plays were similar with the big conniption picture in the plots and themes, and distinguishable according to smaller form aside that be hitherto quite important. Though the plays are unalike in a lot of ways, it cant be helped to compare the two. A large similarity the husbands and wives throw away in the plays was troy weight: the contribute in Fences, and Willie: the lead in devastation of a Salesman were twain unfaithful to their wives. Its true that they both loved their wives, but as their marriages went on, both men met other women and fell unfaithful. Interestingly, both wives, Rose: troy weights wife, and Linda: Willies wife, stayed faithful to their husbands. Rose entrust her life and soul into troy weight, and still he desire verboten the companionship of another (Gantt, 11). Though, troy weight and Roses marriage was not what it used to be, she stayed with him, and even off terminate up raising troy weights missy as her own. When Willie cheated on his wife, Linda, she stayed faithful to him until he died.

You can see somewhat that Linda agnise on that point was something about Willie she didnt know, bu t she never put up out about that woman he ! had been with. When it comes to the similarities with fathers and sons both Troy and Willie have two sons. Willies sons were two very distinct people, as were Troys sons. Both Willie and Troy singled out one of their sons in their mind who they decided would, or should, go far in life and not mother the mistakes of their fathers.
